employees, working part time (20 to 30 hours per week). Managed all computer
related projects until 2001 (company added a SQL programmer for new accounting
system). I migrated them from an obsolete mid-80’s Unix system to a Corporate network of PCs now running several 2000 Servers- PDC network Domain control / fileserver, application server, SQL server, terminal server and about 45 client PCs. Custom built several PCs and servers. Installed all server and workstation operating systems (mostly Dell hardware), setup and maintain all networking -LAN, Ethernet wiring, Internet, DSL, routers, switch/hub, VPN (across Internet to remote warehouse & sales office), print servers / network printers, corporate virus protection and dialup. Migrated their mid-80’s Sales/accounting system to Business Work (windows based). Installed and custom designed ACT system (contact management system for the Sales force) including database / screen layouts design, custom reports, and data synchronization with remote Sales office ACT database. Design and creation of a new company website (now about 100+ pages). Tested & installed new CCTV Computer controlled Surviellance System for recording & remote access via internet Provide all end user PC support. |
